hey thanks for another yet fast response i found some R3 residental insulation foam that works great really ridged ill use the tape idea thanks alot

We use strapping tape for the hinges cut into narrow strips then cover over it with colored tape. We never made any plans for the insulation foam planes. They were just drawn on the foam. I would suggest you build a delta wing for your first plane they are easy to build and have great flight characteristics.

hey thanks for the fast response another question what are you useing to mount the control surfaces with? is it the same as you use in normal model planes another is i think i want to do a cheap o lowes insulation plane have any basixc designs i could go on and then take off with somthing of my own maybe?

deevis82 Thanks for the positive comment, it’s appreciated. As for power systems, please see the new video my brother Frank just posted “Bullet Plane Part 2″. This video shows in detail the same power system we use in a lot of the planes we build. I will try and do a video taht will cover the airfoils better the next time I make an EPP plane. Thanks again!

Great videos!! In future videos can you go over the power systems you have in those planes and also tell us about your airfoil construction? Thanks and keep up the awesome work!!!

MajorSarge123 Thanks for the cool comment and also thanks for subscribing. Wow, all the way from Estonia, Cool good to have someone from a new part of the world take a look at our videos. Again, welcome and Thanks you. I am hoping to do some more videos in better detail about RC plane building materials.

Rokit1man, Thanks for the comment and subscribing. As for EPP it is not as light as Depron, but it is a lot better for building a crash resistant plane. If you build a plane out of thick EPP like the Nova Jet (30mm), you can get by with no Carbon spares. Tere are none on the Nova Jet. You can use Foam Safe CA Glue, Epoxy, Hot Glue and other Foam Glues with EPP. Sorry I don’t have any EPP for sale but I will email you some links to where i purchased some before. Thanks again!

Is the EPP foam as light as the Depron foam. Also, do you use carbon fiber rods in your EPP foam jets? Nice jet and looks much more durable than the one I made out of Depron! I hope the glue that I use on the Depron works just as well on EPP. Do you use any 5 minute epoxy to hold down your servos and control rods? I will look for this EPP foam and would you have any sheets to sale in Missouri? Thanks, Rokit1man (Topeka)(KS)
