@IsicanA7X but like i said, use the same principle as a detroit diesel with racks and a governor, keep it well tuned and you won’t have problem, diesels 2stroke have a fix for runnaways, just pull the emergency shutoff and seal off the blower so engine can’t get air, it’ll shut down

@Ilovetypography in theory yeah a V12 would be very balanced and stable, but an engine this size might require a heavy flywheel to keep the right momentum, i’m not 100% sure just what i think, but those cylinders even though they overlap themselves might not produce much power, add compression to that, could be too much to turn over on itself, so heavy flywheel here we go runs nice, again just what i think

@IsicanA7X well only main reason i can see is it’s close to impossible to run a gas 2stroke with a catalytic converter, would get plugged often with oil residue unless they would use detroit’s concept of 2stroke with it’s own oil base and air jackets in the block with a blower then exausts valves in the head, i bet that would be pretty awesome, fit it with electronic controls and egr valve, could run a converter on the exaust, would be awesome:)
