what is a good battery and charger for a traxxas slash 4×4 ultamate lipo batteries?
Are there any good Ac lipo chargers because thats all that I am going to be using, anything for under 80$
@maplekid1000 You can either snip the turnigy charger connectors and install a traxxas male connector or make an adapter of a female deans to a male traxxas connector.
what happens if i have a turnigy charger and i want to charge a traxxas battery what would i have to do, because the connectors arent the same ??

hi im new to the r/c world but love it so far .. and i need some advice on lipo charging .. should i use the balaner everytime ? or will it damage the pack ? should i put the pack on storage after every time i use it ? and discharging should it be done everytime im finished? whats a good pack for run time and punch i was thinking something along the lines of 3s 5000 to 6000 mah if possible. thank you.. newbie lol

Have you heard of Elite Power Elite i6 lipo charger? I have one, but I can’t find anything online about it. I need the instructions.

@jamesb0317 Both are external. You need an external power supply to convert your house 115VAC to 12 to 15VDC.
Externals can use a external power supply or your cars battery. Your cars battery is DC and 12VDC.
Thanks for the reply. The ice in this vid has an internal or external power supply? It is DC only correct? Dc only means you cannot connect to your 1:1 car battery, but AC/DC you can?

A power supply is a power supply whether if it is internal or not. Both take 115VAC and convert that to 12 to 15VDC at a amp rating of an average of 5 to 20.
The difference between internal and external is that external typically are more robust and have more power handling capabilities. Internals, built for size, cannot handle much.
Also, external chargers can be tapped onto your 1:1 car’s battery for power. They are designed for racing.

@SuperNItroRCFReak not much of a difference between Truggy and Buggy (depending on the brands obviously) buggies tend to be a little quicker because they’re smaller.. but truggies can go just as fast and are a little easier to not spin out of control…

buggy= fast and best for racing
truggy = good for racing to but best for jumping
truck=good hill climbing and offroad

Mind you my moster truck lapped as quick as some buggys on a short course.
