BHP Petrol (BP) ‘Race Ace’ Remote Controlled RC Cars

These are 2 cars from the BHP Petrol ‘Race Ace’ Remote Controlled Cars series (4 in total). The blue car – named ‘Speed Demon’ & proudly owned by Bryan – is modeled after a Subaru Impreza WRX, while my gold car – named ‘Silver Lightning’ (i know, how dumb is that??) – obviously is a BMW 3 Series Coupe. We also bought the other 2 cars – Adrian’s ‘Black Mamba’ (Mercedes) and Derek’s ‘Mr. Furious’ (Mini Cooper). Considering each car is sold at only RM19.90 (approx USD6), the finishing is VERY detailed – check out the rims, the sports stickers, the bucket seats, even the ‘speakers’ under the rear windscreen! The headlights even light up when you move forward, and brakelights when you hit reverse! Awesome stuff. Sure beats those Ferraris from Shell… LAME.

erm u burn your clutch out? cos it sounds like it p.s i did same and it apparently was burnt out clutch

  23. disis60 says:

me personaly prefere petrol alot easier to start and no need for a glow plug they are alot more reliable than the nitro only thing is that the petrol rc cars are very heavy and not recomened for jumpin as u can tell by the video lol but fueled rc cars are a great amount of fun petrol or nitro

  24. georgeemorris says:

hi im not realy intrested in rc cars i just like little engines but i have a few questions can you run a petrol engine on nitro or the otherway round and whitch would you recoment petrol or nitro?? thanks in advance!

  25. disis60 says:

hi thanks for the comment i have acturly took it back to the shop 5 times because of the same problem but each time the man says hes fixed it after 30 mins it loses all drive to the rear wheels as u can see is this a regular problem with urs or is it just every now and then

  26. matamosquitos says:

let me inform you about this problem because I have had the same one with my spider. This problem can happens because you drive your car on sand, which is very dangerous as I told you. On another hand,i happened to me as well,it´s because of the engine moves itself and the bell don´t work properly.Have you understood me??I recommend you to consult those possible problems to the rc shop where you bought it!! Good luck. Moreover, I recoommend you not to drive it again in order not to damage more!!
