This is the Axial AX10 RTR version. We were crawling at an angle of 60 degrees the leaves in between the rock caused us to slip a lot.The front diff has been locked with the provided locker, the pinion has been change to the provided 14t. I also star cut the foams, added 3 1/2 oz of weight to each front wheel and 1 oz to each back wheels. The rims have to small holes driled in them to let air flow. I removed the servo saver and put a solid arm in. The servo is ok but I will be changing it soon. The motor was change for a 55t that I had already, the stock would work good also. The battery is still in the stock spot up high, I am waiting on my saddle packs to mount the batteries on the front axle. Trimmed the body a bit. I won’t be changing the plastic links until they really start to flex or break. Its a really fun truck, GET THIS TRUCK YOU WILL LOVE IT FOR THE MONEY!!
I’m going to bye this axial rock racer from my hobby shop for 250 sounds boring huh! but the thing it the guy who’s selling it has never ran it has different gearing all aluminum green anodized after stock motor esc servo it’s amazing and for 350 bucks wahoo

i have (ithink) extra firms with the bottom caps off and the front on the inside of the links. stock tires though :_(
saw this neat set up at my local hobby shop with the spring on the inside of the shock so that the shocks worked pretty much backwards, pulling the front end down. it was pretty cool.
it will but the u can hold the left wheel and the right wheel will spin twice as fast this isnt good fer crawling but it will work but if u lock the diff both wheels have to move at the same time
hello. i was wondering if the pinion gear the losi mini slider would work on the rtr. If it does would the rtr be better?
if the front diff isnt in it wont be 4wd right?
For some reason on the RTR the shocks are on the outside of the three link suspension, flip them closer to the center, put medium springs on, and losi rock claws. $50 for an easy 25% increase in capabilities.

i took out my rtr shocks heat them up to take the temper out of them now there realy soft!
Nice work… you can see that you’ve done some mods to it. The RTR is crap out of the box, but with a little work on the wheels and shocks, they crawl really well.
