Aerial video from giant RC Warbird – external views of flying plane and video from the camera mounted in the front of the wing, right next to the fuselage. This camera is only 6 ounces and produces great video that is .avi format for easy import into Windows Movie Maker. The radio control plane is a large 84″ span electric motor modeled after a 1940′s P-39 Airacobra. I built it out of blue foam from Lowes. They will ship you a bunch of it for . enjoy the show

UPDATE!
Turns out the motor shaft set screw (allen screw) backed out resulting in the “can” pulling out of the motor as it revved up, losing power since the magnets lost contact.
Easily fixed and no damage! Whew…….
Man, this thing performs like no P-39 ever could. P/W ratio those guys in the Pacific would have given an arm for.
Oh, and I thought I recognized some Newsboys in there! Next time, something a little more rockin’ like Disciple or 12Stones. Eh?
