@hafgnojdfbnkadjfnv Hi, even though the kit is fun to build and even more fun to fun on the local lake, the plastic of the Matchbox kit was not very durable. After only two years it developed cracks in the hull. Perhaps Revell now uses better plastic. On the plus side: the model ran very well in our pool, I even used the propeller that came with the kit. I used a two-channel Futaba RC unit with a propotional speed control.
ive just dragged an r/c one i built when it was a new matchbox release out of my loft it is all there so building a diorama with an airfix m.t.b.
It is the Revell plastic 1/72 plastic model kit which is now available in model-shop for display plastic model kit. One has to do the rest to make it move.
Can u sill get this kit, or is it out of production?
Hi, I like your video clip and have rated it as awesome. I’ve created a clip of a WW2 battleship trading card set. It is rumoured that Hitler purchased this set for his U-boat personnel.
Not again.Hong Kong is not Japan,it is China (SAR).Go to google earth and you will find where Hong Kong is.Nevermind, Oscar made the same mistake saying that the film “The departure” is from Hong Kong,Japan.
So this is in Japan!??! weird!
Please see part (3)
HI Whiteyaks3, The whole video is 25 mins and was taken on the waterway between Deepwater Bay and Repulse Bay Hong Kong. There is a walk along and above the coastline on which we can walk along rc our boats and shoot video.
that ship is awsome lol beastily u are in california are u not?
That’s comppletely awesome I’m not going to lie.
nice looking, but still not a “battleship”.
Seal the shaft tube with thick lubrication greaseand the exist with a plastic collar. The shaft is gear-driven so that the prop presses tight to the shaft tube. The radio is just a futaba 2-channel junior.
You did a great job with that! How did you keep the water from coming in where the prop shafts exit the hull? Do they sell bearings for that to keep the water out? What kind of radio did you use? Thanks! keep up the good work.
The ship is a plastic model made by Revell – 1/72 World War 2 Corvette. The sea is real.
OMG that thing looks real unless you see the ships in the background!
